Michael Keller, Research Physical Scientist

Dr. Michael Keller is the Research Physical ScientistattheUSDAForestService,InternationalInstituteofTropicalForestry. From his first years of undergraduate student, Michael was interested in deforestation in the Amazon. Thanks to his investigative work, he has published several articles about degraded forests in the Amazon region. Dr. Keller has also used ecosystem models to understand the current function of degraded forests and understand their role in the future.
