Tamara Heartstill-Scalley, Research Ecologist

Dr. Tamara Heartsill-Scalley is a scientist, ecologist and researcher at the International Institute of Tropical Forestry of the US Forest Service. Dr. Heartsill-Scalley ecological work has been developed  in Puerto Rico, within the Luquillo Experimental Forest, specifically in the areas of "El Verde" and "Bisley".  In addition to forests, Dr. Heartsill-Scalley has experience working with rivers and streams, mangroves and wetlands from around the island of Puerto Rico to the Pacific islands.
