Invasive and Exotic Species

Non-native, invasive forest insects, plants, and other organisms are established in the United States, and many of them threaten the economic and social benefits of forests in rural and urban areas. Northern Research Station scientists have a long history of research on the biology and ecology of invasive species as well as methods for control and eradication.
