PNW SciCast Webinar: The Promise of Environmental DNA (eDNA)

The June 2022 installment of PNW SciCast features research fisheries biologist Dr. Brooke Penaluna. Her webinar, “The Promise of Environmental DNA (eDNA)," highlights her research using eDNA as a tool for understanding what’s living in Pacific Northwest streams. Her use of eDNA methods shows promise as a survey tool for public and private natural resource managers who are tasked with protecting endangered fish and other species as well as monitoring the introduction of aquatic invasive species.
