The Stewardship Mapping Project: 2017 New York City Story Map
Who takes care of New York City’s environment? The answer is all of us. The Stewardship Mapping and Assessment Project (STEW-MAP) is a comprehensive way to survey, map, and track all groups that work to conserve, manage, monitor, transform, advocate for, and/or educate the public about their local environments. STEW-MAP serves as a common platform where a wide range of stakeholders can support natural resource management and community development. For example, click on Bronx River Alliance in the “Group Level Example” in the right-hand panel to see this group displayed on the stewardship map.
