Collaborations to Save Threatened Tree Species

A team of experts from The Morton Arboretum and Botanic Garden Conservation International presented their research on conserving genetic diversity in urban forests. Urban forests across the globe feature low genetic diversity, making them vulnerable to stress from climate change, pests, and diseases. Webinar presenters are working to identify and conserve at-risk tree species and populations with data collected from Forest Service seed orchards.
