First Friday All Climate Change Talks: Regional climate adaptation strategy - Integrating existing tools, science, and collaborative outcomes

The Southwestern Region of the Forest Service has released the Regional Climate Adaptation Strategy as guidance to resource managers, planners, and decision makers for the assessment, prioritization, and application of climate adaptation. The Strategy contrasts paradigms of climate adaptation and restoration and promotes expertise and scientific knowledge to determine directional change and suitable management responses. The Strategy adapts the workbook process from the NIACS Climate Adaptation Workbook while linking to regional science, conventions, and policy, including Land Management Plans.
