Primary Features

Stands of Douglas-fir and curlleaf mountain mahogany cover large parts of the proposed RNA.  Communities of subalpine fir, bigtooth maple, mountain big sagebrush, and low sagebrush are also present.  The area also contains extensive stands of single-leaf pinyon pine that are widely disjunct from the main occurrences of this species in teh Great Basin.
