WiRē at a Glance: The Wildfire Research Center

This two-page document describes the Wildfire Research Center (WiRē), its approach to social research, and the products they develop in partnership with community wildfire mitigation specialists in the western U.S. Supported by the Rocky Mountain Research Station, WiRē researchers and their partners conduct parcel-level wildfire risk assessments and administer social surveys to the individuals who live on those properties. This document outlines the Center's co-productive process that intertwines research and practice and assures the data are useful and actionable.
