International Oak Symposium

A four-day symposium on oak ecology and management will bring experts from around the world to Knoxville, Tennessee. The symposium is designed to cultivate synergy among managers and scientists and foster innovation in silviculture and management for sustainability of oak forests. 

The University of Tennessee School of Natural Resources is hosting the symposium. Researcher foresters Stacy Clark and Callie Schweitzer are conference co-chairs. The symposium will include panel discussions, field trips, and more. It is international in scope.
