Interactive maps: Potential wildfire impacts to recreation sites in four national forests

A picnic area in the Angeles National Forest.
This collection of interactive maps highlights the areas with greatest risk of long-term recreation displacement due to wildfire in the Angeles, Cleveland, Los Padres, and San Bernardino National Forests in southern California.
Users can click on the roads, trails, and place icons in each map to reveal information specific to that component of recreation infrastructure. Users can also export an image of a specific region of the map, with the option to include a detailed legend. The map image is georeferenced for Avenza, a mapping application, which can be helpful during field work.
These spatial data and maps were created as part of the California Recreation Displacement Project and beta tested by forest staff in the region.
