Abstract

Describes a simple procedure for adjusting growth in the STEMS regional tree growth model to compensate for subregional differences. Coefficients are reported to adjust Lake States STEMS to the forests of Northern and Central Wisconsin--an area of essentially uniform climate and similar broad physiographic features. Errors are presented for various combinations of stand and tree variables.
