Abstract

Tree measurement data from plantations established in 1970 and 1973 and grown under intensive culture were used to establish various dimensional relations and biomass equations for Populus ''Tristis #1''. These equations subsequently have been used to estimate yields on study plots and for projections of future yields. They are presented here for others working with this hybrid and as a guide to model forms which might be utilized for other species.
