Abstract

Mixed-species flocks are common and obvious in Neotropical habitats. In the Caribbean islands flocks have been noted on Puerto Rico^2,5,24,29, Jamaica⁴, Haiti²⁰, in Dominican Republic¹⁸, the virgin Islands⁷ and on Cuba^6,16. Unlike other islands, however such flocks have not been described in detail for Cuba. One previous report treated mixed-species flocks of migratory wood warblers in Cuba¹⁶
