Abstract

A series of screening tests were established during 1955 to determine the effects of six commercial and experimental herbicides on brush in southwestern Oregon. The herbicides were tested as foliage sprays on 13 of the most abundant species and varieties of brush on forest lands in this area. Low volatile esters of 2, 4-D and 2,4, 5-T proved to be the most effective herbicides.
