Abstract

This note presents cubic-foot volume equations and tables for western juniper (Juniperus occidentalis Hook. ). Total cubicfoot volume (ground to tip, excluding all branches (CVTS)) is expressed as a function of diameter at breast height (DBH) and total height. Utilizable cubic-foot volume (top of 12-inch stump to a 4-inch top, excluding all branches (CV4)) is expressed as a function of CVTS and DBH.
