Abstract

The first part of this article in the Summer 2009 issue covered basic mineral nutrition, the 3 components of a fertigation system, and the chemical calculations forformulating your own custom fertigation solutions. In this second and final part, we'll discuss types of fertilizer injectors, fertigation scheduling, and how to check injector function and determine exactly how much liquid fertilizer is going on your crop.
