Rocky Mountain Research Station Part 1 [U.S. Forest Service scientists continue work with the Lincoln National Forest]

Abstract

The Rocky Mountain Research Station (RMRS) is one of five regional Research Stations that make up the US Forest Service Research and Development organization. RMRS is organized into eight science program areas, with an overall mission to develop new and synthesize existing knowledge to foster improved management of natural resources. Scientists with the Wildlife and Terrestrial Ecosystems Program are currently working with the Lincoln National Forest (LNF) on a study involving the effects of fuels-reduction treatments on the threatened Mexican spotted owl.
