Proceedings of the 17th biennial southern silvicultural research conference

Abstract

A range of issues affecting southern forests are addressed in 108 papers or extended abstracts. Papers are grouped in 13 sections that cover the topics of hardwood regeneration, best management practices for stream crossings, pine regeneration and genetics, fire effects, eco-physiology, forest nutrition, vegetation management, forest threats, biomass, biometrics, growth and development, conservation, and methods.
