Abstract

This established RNA is on the Los Padres National Forest, near Lucia about 23 miles (37 km) SE. of the town of Big Sur, in Monterey County. It incorporates two ecological surveys, Limekiln Creek and South Fork of Devil’s Canyon. The RNA includes portions of sects. 33, 34, and 35 T21S, R4E and all or portions of sects. 1, 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 22, and 23 T22S, R4E MDBM (36°01'N., 121°29'W.), USGS Cone Peak and Lopez Point quads. Ecological subsection – North Coastal Santa Lucia Range (261Aj).
