Abstract
Slash pine trees 6 to 20 inches d. b. h. selected from a natural, uneven-aged sawtimber stand in southern Alabama were sampled for green and dry weight and cubic volume in the total tree and its component parts. Specific gravity, moisture content, and green weight per cubic foot are presented for the total tree and its components. Yield tables developed from regression equations predict green and dry weights and cubic-foot volumes by d. b. h. and total height classes.
