Abstract
The 14th biennial Short Rotation Woody Crops International Conference was held from May 13-16, 2024, at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, USA. Hosted by the University of Missouri Center for Agroforestry, the conference brought together researchers, practitioners, policymakers and students interested in the science and practice of growing and using fast-growing trees for agroforestry, bioenergy, forest products, and environmental applications. The theme of the conference was “The Future is Green: Integrating Short Rotation Woody Crops (SRWCs), Agroforestry, and Ecosystem Services for Sustainable, Productive Landscapes” with a goal of enhancing information exchange and fostering collaboration for integrating SWRC into agroforestry systems. The conference consisted of 31 oral presentations and 17 poster presentations in addition to 2 plenary presentations and a welcome plenary by Dr. Benjamin Knapp about the University of Missouri Center for Agroforestry. This conference proceedings details abstracts from all presentations given during the conference.
