Landscape Modeling & Climate Change
Mechanistic landscape modeling of ecophysiological processes and their interaction with disturbance, climate, and biophysical setting is a rapidly emerging field due to the importance of climate change and the continued improvement of computer technology, ecophysiological knowledge, geographical information and analysis, and remote sensing data. This feature offers examples of specific landscape modeling and climate change projects that RMRS Fire, Fuel, and Smoke scientists are working on.
