The Fire Weather Alert System

The Fire Weather Alert System (FWAS) is a mobile application that monitors weather data and short-term forecasts to alert on-the-ground firefighters to dangerous weather conditions approaching their area. Users set custom weather thresholds and the FWAS sends alerts when those thresholds are exceeded. Watch this webinar to learn more about FWAS, how to use it, and planned future enhancements.
