Primary Features

The RNA contains nine forested habitat types representative of ponderosa pine and Douglas-fir, and significantly enhances representation of these elements within Idaho's RNA system. The area comprising Circle End Creek RNA has been used as an undisturbed, calibrated watershed as part of the Forest Service's larger Zena Creek Logging Study suspended in 1982.
