Primary Features

It is a relatively low-elevation area along the Salmon River not far above the junction of the Salmon River with the Middle Fork of the Salmon representing certain shrub and grass habitat types in very good condition.  It is an excellent area for the study of factors affecting the distribution of species in unusually good condition.
