Primary Features
Extensive stands of mature cottonwood (Populus trichocarpa), large areas of mountain big sagebrush (Artemisia tridentata vaseyana) in good condition, several natural ponds, one grand fir (Abies grandis) habitat type which represents the southern extent of this type in Idaho, and good examples of several Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii) and subalpine fir (Abies lasiocarpa) habitat types.
