Primary Features
A small watershed dominated by rock talus and few alpine and subalpine plants at higher elevations with five Douglas-fir (Psuedostuga menziesii) habitat types, three subalpine fir (abies concolor), and lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta) communities on the slopes below. Elk sedge (Carex geyeri) flourishes and beargrass (Xerophylum tenax) is abundant even though it is at the southern limit of its range in the Beaverhead Mountains.
