Primary Features

The Finger Mesa RNA includes the entire relatively flat-topped mountain of Finger Mesa, a broad volcanic upland. Alpine tundra, subalpine grassland, willow carrs, and wetlands cover the mountain top and spruce-fir forest is found on the surrounding slopes.
