Primary Features

The Grizzly Peak RNA is characterized by rugged mountain topography; three rock glaciers and a number of well-defined cirque basins occur within the RNA. Key features include periglacial topography, sedimentary geology, fens, old growth spruce-fir forests, willow carrs, alpine tundra, Thurber's fescue mountain grasslands, and wetlands.
