Primary Features

The Indian Caves RNA covers an expanse of rolling short-grass plains, including chokecherry and snowberry shrublands along a steep rock escarpment and small areas of wetland at the base of the escarpment. Ephemeral ponds are found on the rocky plain above the escarpment in the northern part of the RNA.
