Primary Features

The Mount Goliath RNA is primarily a stand of very old bristlecone pine near treeline located near the Mount Evans Road. The bristlecone pine occurs near the northern limits of its range; old growth bristlecone pine is intermixed with Engelmann spruce and alpine meadow. An interpretive trail is maintained by the Denver Botanical Gardens in a small part of the RNA.
