Outstanding example of the ponderosa plne/curlleaf mountain mahogany habitat type. Less widespread examples of habitat types In the Douglas-fir series are also present as are arid steep slope Juniper pinyon pine communities a mixture of mountain mahogany, Gambel oak, and other Douglas-fir and ponderosa pine habitat types.
