Gender differences in the use of public parks in Northeast Ohio

Abstract

Data from an in-park survey were used to examine differences between men and women in their use of public parks in Northeast Ohio. Analysis of the surveys revealed that there were fundamental differences in the way men and women use parks, and the kinds of barriers that limited their use of parks.
