- The mechanisms that control polyamine (PA) metabolism in plant cell lines with different embryogenic potential are not well understood. - Overabundance of woody plants in semiarid ecosystems can degrade understory herbaceous vegetation and often requires shrub reduction and seeding to recover ecosystem services.
