Researching Whitebark Pine

Researchers with the USDA Forest Service Rocky Mountain Research Station are currently working on a number of whitebark pine research projects throughout the west. Each project is geared towards a specific aspect of whitebark restoration and will provide more usable data for the preservation of this species. Projects include research on climate, growth, daylight, and restoration.
