- This report traces the flow of Idaho’s 2015 timber harvest through the primary wood products industry and characterizes the structure, capacity, and condition of Wyoming’s forest products sector. Trends in timber harvest, production, sawmill capacity, mill residuals, and sales value are presented. - SNAPSHOT USA is a multi-contributor, long-term camera trap survey designed to survey mammals across the United States. Participants are recruited through community networks and directly through a website application (https://www.snapshot-usa.org/). - Background. Characterisation of fuel consumption provides critical insights into fire behaviour, effects, and emissions. - The REPLANT Act, part of the 2021 Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, directs the Forest Service to plant more than a billion trees on 4 million acres of deforested national forest lands over the next decade. Most of these lands were burned by severe wildfire, and are not reforesting naturally due to a lack of seed sources and unfavorable climatic conditions.
