Challenges Facing Our Forests Post-Helene: A Panel and Q&A

Hurricane Helene impacted over 800,000 acres of forests in 19 Western North Carolina counties. In response, EcoForesters. and the USFS Southern Research Station gathered forestry professionals and non-profits together to share information with the public. Over 250 people came to learn more about how forests were damaged and what can be done to improve forest health.
