- During recent decades there has been widespread oak decline and mortality in the Missouri Ozarks, USA. We extracted data of 18,403 oak trees measured during 1999-2019 from the US Forest Service’s Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA) database to examine the spatiotemporal patterns of oak decline and mortality and associated risk factors. - This paper presents a framework to better identify and measure defects in a bridge using drone-based inspection images integrated with grayscale image enhancement techniques.
