Riparian and Aquatic Ecosystem Vulnerability Evaluation (RAEVEN) Data Library

The RAEVEN ArcGIS^TM online dashboard provides two types of resources. 

1) It is a centralized repository with links to stream and riparian spatial data, literature, and decision-support tools to support management, planning, and research across the Pacific Northwest. This dashboard is an all-lands (private, tribal, and government) tool for land managers and stakeholders to visualize, analyze, interpret, and make decisions by using consolidated data from multiple sources. 

It includes a Web-based mapping application that enables users to manipulate, overlay, and view a broad array of spatial data:

• Streamflow 

• Stream temperature 

• Gridded climate data (PRISM) 

• Aquatics data (Lotic AIM) from the USDI Bureau of Land Management

• Roads

• Fish species distribution maps

• This is intended to help managers easily access information developed and stored by a wide variety of agencies for historical, current, and future time frames.

2) The dashboard also includes an assessment of where streamflow permanence or stream temperature may be favorable for coldwater fish in different hydroclimatic conditions (e.g., warm, wet, dry, mean). It serves spatial data from the Streamflow Permanence and Stream Temperature Limiting Factor Assessment that map streamflow permanence (PROSPER) and stream temperature (NorWeST).
